We welcome original manuscripts on health professions learning and technology. There are no submission or publication fees.
Article Types
- Research — original empirical studies (≤ 5,000 words)
- Review — narrative or systematic reviews
- Case report — implementation experiences and lessons learned
- Commentary / Editorial — perspectives on the field (≤ 2,000 words)
- Brief report — concise studies or pilots (≤ 2,500 words)
Preparing your manuscript
- Submit a single file (PDF or Word) with title, abstract (≤ 300 words), keywords, body, and references.
- Use a recognized reference style (APA 7 preferred) applied consistently.
- Include author names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs; identify the corresponding author.
- Obtain any required ethics/IRB approvals and state them in the manuscript.
- Declare funding and conflicts of interest.
How submission works
- Complete the submission form and upload your manuscript — no account required.
- You'll receive a private link by email to track your submission and upload revisions.
- Our editors screen the manuscript and send it for external peer review.
- You'll be notified of the decision with reviewer feedback.
- Accepted articles are copyedited, assigned a DOI, and published open access in the next issue.
